Scott Stewart has been in worship music ministry for over 18 years. Born and raised in Columbus, Georgia, he began playing piano at a very young age and continued his musical development through college where he earned his degree in Piano and Composition. The founder of World Wide Worship, he is a licensed publisher through CCLI (Christian Copyright Licensing International) and has led worship throughout the U.S. and in several countries around the world, including Russia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Bolivia, and Guatemala. He has recorded 4 worship projects: Passion For His Presence (1997), I Believe (1999), Lost In Your Presence (2005), and In The Stillness (2007). Scott is currently a worship leader at The Refuge, a thriving church in the Charlotte, NC area.
Scott & the ministry of World Wide Worship have recently launched “Project Moldova”. Moldova is one of the leading countries in the world in the trafficking of teenage girls. At the age of 16 girls are turned away from the orphanages and left with nowhere to go. Through the ministry of Philip Cameron they are provided an opportunity to live in safe houses called “Stella’s House”. This gives them an opportunity to go to school, have adequate clothing and food, house parents to help them, and safety from those that would want to “hire” them for the purpose of trafficking. Fifty percent of all CD sales now go to support the work in Moldova! The goal of World Wide Worship is to sale 100,000 CD’s to help build more Stella’s Houses.
